World Framework
Lady Luck’s world is organized around an adventurer culture that mistakes visible finishing power for the whole truth. Contracts, guild reports, witnessed victories, and documented output determine rank far more readily than quiet prevention. That bias explains the central fraud of Kurnoma Rawibari’s early career. She was registered as a B-Rank healer because the Registry counted the enemy Darius struck down, not the fraction of a second Kurnoma stole from its reaction; it counted his surviving stamina, not the pheromonal reinforcement keeping his muscles from tearing; it counted the clean escape, not the illusion and probability pressure that made the route appear. The strongest observers eventually noticed that fighting beside her felt less like receiving good support and more like entering a battle whose bad outcomes had been edited before anyone else saw them. The rank ladder is therefore useful but incomplete. B Rank identifies dependable professionals capable of surviving dangerous regional work and supporting serious parties.
Adventurer Classification & Registry Blindness
The Registry measures what it can witness: direct wins, contract difficulty, casualties, finishing blows, raw output, and corroborated feats. This method rewards spectacular offense and penalizes prevention. Kurnoma exploited that weakness for years. She treated classification as camouflage, allowed Darius to receive the visible credit, and kept her most consequential work inside timing windows too small for ordinary observers to name. Rank still carries practical weight. It determines mission access, response authority, political attention, and how much collateral capability a region expects from the holder. B-Rank members are trusted professionals. A-Rank members are formation-changing specialists. S-Rank members are strategic forces. SS Rank is reserved for people who can alter the underlying terms of battle. Upper Four is not a normal promotion tier; it describes apex adversaries whose continued existence has become a geopolitical condition. A rank never guarantees victory.
Magic, Bloodline Arts & Inheritance
Magic is teachable, expandable, and culturally categorized. Bloodline Arts are personal rules carried by inheritance and transformed by lived experience. Darius inherited a weapon-summoning art from one parent and dimensional equipment storage from the other; their fusion became Weapon Gacha. The triplets inherited neither parent cleanly. Lucius expresses Darius’s mass and Kurnoma’s correction as an anchoring body. Kumoko turns need and emotion into temporary armament. Elara treats ownership itself as something that can be recognized, claimed, and redacted. A Bloodline Art develops through use, bodily adaptation, emotional clarity, and occasionally catastrophe. It may cooperate with ordinary magic, but it is not interchangeable with it. Lucius can cast barriers without Unyielding Frame, yet the Art makes those barriers part of an anchored position. Suki can move with Weapon Arts without Puppeteer, yet every landed thread changes the agency of the field.
Weapon Arts
Weapon Arts are disciplines of intention made physical. Precision reduces waste and places force exactly. Momentum carries prior motion into the next exchange. Flow removes the dead space between decisions. Counter turns the opponent’s commitment into an opening. Speed compresses initiation and recovery. Impact decides how force enters a target. Guard governs reception, coverage, and protected geometry. Naming an Art can improve efficiency because the spoken phrase aligns breath, decision, and bodily pattern; skilled users do not always need the call. Darius favors Momentum, Flow, and Impact because his Gacha can place a different weapon in his hands from one exchange to the next. Kurnoma uses Precision, Momentum, Counter, Speed, and Flow to make a physically powerful opponent miss by an inch and then discover that the inch was a trap. Lucius builds Guard and Counter around a position that refuses displacement. Kumoko uses Speed, Flow, Momentum, and Impact as connective tissue between unstable constructs.
Weapon Gacha & Rarity
Darius’s Weapon Gacha stores up to eight weapons and materializes a pull inside a blue crystalline shell that breaks on contact or the first swing. Common pulls are procedural and unimbued. Rare pulls have established craft and a weak random element. Legendary weapons belong to a named, often Kurnoma-forged pool with strong fusion. Mythics are sentient, autonomous-capable, and able to express reality-level functions. Their nominal summon chance is one percent within the Art’s relevant pool. There is no ordinary energy cost or standard cooldown. Darius may summon airborne and chain successive pulls, but he cannot cancel a weapon that has begun materializing. Rejecting a pull recalls it, adds a Pity stack, and imposes a seven-second cooldown. Five Pity guarantees Rare or higher. Once Darius swings a materialized weapon, it remains physically present and another sufficiently capable person can seize it. Recalled weapons return pristine but that exact model locks for the rest of the day.
Legendary, Mythic & True Name Doctrine
Kurnoma forges by healing material. Broken metal is treated as a wounded body; missing alloy can be regenerated from what remains, impurities transmuted away, enchantment channels restored, and a damaged core stabilized until the artifact remembers its intended shape. Regrowing half an ingot into a whole one is possible and exhausting. She refuses to commercialize the act because material creation at that scale would consume her and distort every economy around her. Legendary weapons combine exceptional material, a coherent purpose, and strong enchantment. Mythics add sentience. A Mythic has preferences, fear, humor, loyalty, and the capacity to disagree with its wielder. The child chooses the public name: Hearthhold Bastion, Riot Wish, Redacted Mercy, Marionette’s Requiem, Tidehook Promise. Kurnoma gives or discovers the private True Name in her own language: a phrase that describes what the weapon was made to protect, permit, or end. Sentience is not obedience. Riot Wish encourages spectacular mistakes. Redacted Mercy judges.
All-In Jackpot
All-In Jackpot is Kurnoma’s SS-Rank awakening and the unbound form of the hidden Lady Luck system. It first emerged when an Upper Four attacker bypassed her and reached for her six-month-old children. Fear, love, desperation, hope, accumulated memory, and refusal converged around an internal soul-slot machine. Kurnoma struck the lever rather than surrender. The result synchronized her Bloodline Art, magic, Weapon Arts, body, probability pressure, and emotional output into one self-correcting combat state. The user selects a duration from roughly five seconds to forty-eight minutes. Power scales inversely. Forty-eight minutes is the stable version for evacuation, sustained defense, healing, command, and battlefield control. Short durations concentrate more output and sharpen the recoil. At five seconds the state becomes a miracle compressed into violence: impossible distance can be crossed, an otherwise unavoidable attack interrupted, Localized Time Stop fully asserted, and a single unsurvivable action made temporarily possible.
The Last Wager
The final canon removes the Mourning Lock completely. Last Wager is not a seal broken by sadness and not a simple rage buff. It is the True Name Awakening System’s Mythic Evolution Clause: a do-or-die transfer initiated when Kurnoma appears dead or moments from death and the children sincerely believe they are losing her. The belief may be mistaken. What matters is that their bodies, Bloodline Arts, and weapons reach the point where ordinary restraint would guarantee the enemy survives and the family does not. Kurnoma asserts Localized Time Stop, addresses each Mythic individually, and calls its True Name. Hearthbreaker breaks the soul-transfer lock; Mercy’s Edge channels the flood with surgical precision. The triplets receive full physical and Bloodline evolution. Their Mythic weapons visibly change form: Hearthhold Bastion becomes Griefgate Citadel, Riot Wish becomes Stormlaugh Cataclysm, and Redacted Mercy becomes Null Saint Verdict.
Controlling Family Chronology
The chronology below preserves the sequence that matters to the family even where the Registry never issued a calendar date. Ages are included only when the canon supplied them. This is important for Darius: his absence has lasted long enough to shape the triplets’ entire lives, but the absence is evidence of a disappearance, not proof of death. The Early Partnership — Kurnoma and Darius entered the adventurer world as complementary opposites. Darius was the visible physical fighter whose Weapon Gacha could change the geometry of an exchange. Kurnoma presented herself as a B-Rank healer and weaponsmith while quietly shaping terrain, timing, stamina, reaction, and probability. Their romance was affectionate, teasing, and genuinely happy. He broke the formation in front of them; she made sure the formation had already begun to fail. The Hidden Title — Elite observers began calling Kurnoma Lady Luck after recognizing that battles around her were too consistently favorable to be ordinary support work.
