Reading depth
The current archive overview.
Appearance & Silhouette
Theo’s current adult reference presents a tall, broad-shouldered aquatic athlete with a powerful back, lean waist, and long, functional limbs. The build is swimmer-made rather than bodybuilder-shaped: dense shoulders, strong lats, flexible torso, and enough lower-body power to coordinate with a heavy tail. The archive supplies no mature numeric height, so visual scale is described without inventing measurement. His skin is a cool medium brown in the current design. Gray-blue tiger-shark markings cross the body as horizontal bands and broken stripes, strongest around shoulders, torso, tail, and aquatic structures. The pattern reads natural and directional, making movement through water look faster because the stripes appear to slide past one another. A large muscular shark tail extends behind him, accompanied by a dorsal fin or ridge and functional gills at the neck. The tail is not ornamental. It supplies propulsion, turning authority, counterbalance, and close-range impact.
Temperament & Interior Life
Theo is quiet, mature, cautious, guarded, observant, and practical. He does not posture. Silence gives him time to identify where a room opens, who controls the food, whether the offered seat blocks an exit, and whether kindness will later be presented as debt. Years of safety have reduced the necessity of that scan without making it disappear. His caution should not be translated as timidity. In water Theo becomes decisive and predatory because the environment supplies information his land senses withhold. He understands how currents transmit motion, how panic changes buoyancy, how a wounded body turns, and how a target trying to flee will disturb the medium before becoming visible. Home is a verb to him. Kurnoma’s first promise mattered because it was followed by repeated food, blankets, rooms, repairs, invitations, and the Rawibari surname. Theo therefore trusts patterns more readily than declarations. Someone who says ‘family’ once matters less than someone who remembers the gills every day.
Position in the World
Theo is a B-Rank aquatic hunter and retrieval specialist whose effectiveness varies dramatically with terrain. Near oceans, rivers, reservoirs, rain, flooded architecture, or allied water creation, his route control and predatory senses can exceed the expectations attached to his classification. Dry open land exposes the opposite side of the same specialization. His role in a party is to make paths: entry currents, extraction lines, underwater scouting routes, mist screens, ice anchors, and pursuit corridors. Tidehook Promise permits him to rescue someone across hazardous space without physically reaching the final point first. Against enemies, the same system converts escape into tension he can feel through the line. In the Rawibari household, Theo is a claimed son and not a rescued dependent frozen at the age Kurnoma found him. At thirty-two he is older than the triplets and fully adult. Suki remains an older-sibling figure because family age and relational age need not be identical.
Powers, Abilities & Combat Systems
BLOODLINE ART Function. Shark Life allows Theo to transform into a tiger shark in water at approximately ten percent energy cost, shift between hybrid and shark configurations, breathe and function aquatically, and access enhanced smell, underwater vision, current sense, speed, and predatory tracking. Field application. In practice, Theo uses this capability as a complete environmental conversion. Water is not merely terrain Theo crosses; it is the medium in which the body’s sensory and locomotor design becomes fully coherent. System interaction. Water magic creates or extends usable medium, Mist spreads sensory ambiguity, Ice supplies anchors, and Tidehook Promise lets the shark body maintain a relationship with targets beyond immediate bite range. Limits and counterplay. The full transformation requires water and consumes energy. Land vision is poor, land anxiety can rise, and gills remain vulnerable. Severe gill injury on land is extreme; severe damage in water may be fatal because the organ is actively required. Archive note.
Combat Doctrine
Theo begins by locating water, creating it, or identifying what can become a route. Rain gutters, pipes, blood, mist, flooded foundations, wet soil, and allied spells all matter. He does not need an ocean if he can connect several small media into one tactical current. Tidehook Promise establishes distance control. A hook can rescue an ally, pull a shield into place, anchor Theo against forced movement, reverse an attacker’s lunge, or create the line along which water magic travels. Precision decides whether the point pierces, catches equipment, or wraps without injury. In full water he transforms and hunts. Visual clarity improves, scent and pressure become rich information, and the tail supplies speed the humanoid legs cannot imitate. He attacks from below or outside the target’s visual model, then uses the line to prevent the usual escape toward shore. On land he fights with restraint and preparation. Mist obscures poor visual range, ice defines paths, Shadow reduces exposure, and teammates cover the gills.
Key History
Beach Scavenger — Kurnoma found Theo searching a beach for food. She offered food, blankets, shelter, and the possibility of home without demanding immediate trust. Rawibari Son — Repeated care turned the offer into adoption and Theo took the Rawibari surname. Suki became a safe older-sibling figure. Youth Record — An older profile recorded a small, fragile youth. Later mature art supersedes that silhouette but does not issue a new numeric height. Tidehook Promise — Kurnoma forged the spear-harpoon around rescue, pursuit, water-channeling, and return. Its True Name defines the bond as a hook that finds home. Mature Hunter — At thirty-two Theo is a tall athletic swimmer, B Rank under ordinary classification, and highly dangerous when water permits full Shark Life. Last Wager — Kurnoma’s apparent death evolved Tidehook Promise into Homecurrent Fang and raised Theo temporarily to S-Rank rescue and hunting output.
