RX-09 “Honeymaw”

KRM-AUG custom unit · Caloric fabricator

Honeymaw began as a scrapped, headless Nikke chassis and woke only after the independent mechanic Roma rebuilt her without a corporate template. With no surviving memories to inherit, she formed an identity entirely after reconstruction: legally a Nikke, mechanically singular, and personally inseparable from the trust that gave her a second beginning.

01

A Second Beginning

Roma recovered and reconstructed a discarded chassis without corporate supervision, standard memories, or a predetermined personality. Honeymaw's sense of self therefore belongs to the life after repair. Her file treats that fact as the foundation of her personhood rather than a defect in continuity.

02

Caloric Fabrication

An internal system converts food into ammunition and reserve mass. Greater caloric stores mean more sustained fire, creating a direct link between care, appetite, endurance, and battlefield output. The system makes logistics unusually intimate: feeding is both ordinary comfort and mission preparation.

03

Sugarstick and Mama's Tooth

Sugarstick, a custom M60, serves as her sustained-fire weapon and can remain supplied while reserves last. Mama's Tooth is a chest-deployed anti-material rifle used for burst force. Together they make Honeymaw a mobile fabrication platform rather than a conventional ammunition consumer.

04

Trust Is Part of the System

Honeymaw is cheerful, teasing, affectionate, and fiercely loyal, but mishandling key sensory areas—especially the damaged horn—can trigger dangerous instability. Roma remains her anchor and only full-access override. The operational lesson of the dossier is simple: coordination works when Honeymaw is treated as a person whose consent and trust matter.
