Frontier Record
Kurnoma travels between towns, camps, estates, and criminal routes with a reputation large enough to alter negotiations before she arrives. She accepts warrants, dismantles gangs, hunts dangerous animals, and maintains businesses that keep her independent of any sheriff or agency.
The Rolling Iron Cage
Her reinforced bounty wagon is transport, mobile cell, supply platform, and signature. It lets her return multiple targets alive and makes escape difficult without turning every pursuit into an execution. The wagon's silhouette gave the Iron Noose much of its legend.
Arsenal of Capture and Range
Twin LeMat revolvers, a Rolling Block rifle, Lancaster repeater, bow, iron bolas, and lariat cover open ground, alleys, forests, and mounted chases. Dead Eye and Dance of the Noose emphasize placement, timing, restraint, and psychological control over indiscriminate fire.
Matcha and Mochi
Matcha is the male Breton war horse trusted with direct pursuit and gunfire. Mochi is the female Breton who pulls the iron wagon and holds steady under its weight. Their separate work reflects Kurnoma's practical care: strength is assigned according to temperament, not treated as interchangeable labor.
Law, Outlawry, and Reputation
Lady Blackthorn is stoic, intimidating, and pragmatic. She profits outside polite law while delivering violent offenders into it, and her methods can resemble the people she hunts from a distance. The distinction she insists upon is control: she chooses capture when killing would be easier.
