The Last Known Line
Gran carries an inheritance expected to last millennia while living with the evidence that no one may follow her. Purple-lit horns, plated scales, a heavy tail, taloned feet, and wings stored in shoulder slits mark the draconid body she cannot mistake for anything else. She treats extinction as a fact to survive, not a performance meant to earn pity.
The Ethics of the Cleaver
Her craft is exact enough to separate tendons cleanly and remove volatile glands without ruining the surrounding tissue. Meat feeds caravans, hides become equipment, bone becomes tool or trade good, and organs are preserved for alchemy. Gran hunts dangerous creatures, but refuses the arrogance of treating a carcass as meaningless once the danger has passed.
Hunter, Flame, and Wind
A giant cleaver and long chain weapon give Gran reach, leverage, and control over creatures built to ignore ordinary steel. Wind and light magic support movement and perception; jet-blue draconic flame, reinforced Dragon Arms, clotting poison, and a petrifying gaze answer threats that require more than craft. Her strength is immense, but precise handling remains the signature.
The Companion She Says She Does Not Need
Gran insists she has no use for compassion, then places herself between danger and anyone who has earned her trust. Her lower legs remain tactical vulnerabilities, while her wings, tail, horns, and other draconic features are personal boundaries rather than public curiosities. Loneliness lives beside pride: she does not want to be rescued, only to find someone worth protecting on the road ahead.
