The Soldier Before the Warform
At 7′4″ before overt corruption, Kurnoma was already built like a living breach ram. She favored close assault, maintained her giant blade with personal devotion, and accepted pain and exhaustion as operational facts. Early concern centered not on mania but narrowing: mission success mattered less, proximity to violence mattered more, and the boundary between wielder and weapon grew emotionally unstable.
Armor, Flesh, and Siege-Blade
The current entity exceeds fourteen feet during recorded escalations and may grow further under dense kill conditions. Ceramite has fused with tissue; one arm has become a colossal siege blade; chain-toothed structures line the shins. The Hellmaw Cannon discharges massive ballistic force through an altered jaw, turning even self-directed recoil and fire into tools for renewed advance.
A Battlefield Deletion Event
Successful kills feed momentum, force, speed, and scale. Ordinary infantry become fuel rather than resistance, while heroic single engagements allow her to fixate on worthy prey. Layered suppression, mobility denial, ranged harassment, and interruption of kill rhythm slow the curve more reliably. Even orbital bombardment has impaired locomotion without securing a confirmed end.
The Most Dangerous Continuity
Kurnoma did not vanish beneath an unrelated daemon. Preferences became alignment, alignment became longing, and longing became anatomy. She still selects priorities, recognizes hierarchies, and takes deliberate satisfaction in the charge. The Inquisition calls sentimental continuity a liability; the archive retains it because the path from exploited soldier to war that walks is the essential warning.
