Mass, Traction, and the Launch
Dani was already tall, broad, curvy, and physically strong before her mutation. NG-S9 added roughly forty pounds through denser bone, reinforced connective tissue, and compact musculature while preserving a distinctly soft silhouette. Her low center of mass makes her difficult to move, dangerous in a grapple, and exceptionally suited to explosive pounces. Where many Spider-People swing, Dani compresses against a solid surface and launches, redirecting from walls, roofs, overpasses, and bridge supports in violent chains of acceleration.
A Web That Listens
Dani has no precognitive Spider-Sense. Microscopic sensory hairs across her body instead read vibrations through surfaces, letting her distinguish footsteps, weight shifts, mechanisms, vehicles, and movement behind walls. Organic webbing extends that network through an environment. Her silk naturally forms heavy ropes, adhesive bursts, nets, sheets, and load-bearing cables; simple gauntlets shape its geometry but do not create it.
Momentum-Based Pressure Fighter
Under controlled conditions Dani can deliberately handle loads around twenty-five tons, with emergency exertion reaching higher. She is self-trained and practical rather than formally martial: collapse distance, destroy footing, suppress weapons, maintain pressure, overwhelm. A typical engagement begins with a disruptive landing and broad web control before short pounces carry more than 250 pounds of superhumanly accelerated mass between targets.
Confidence, Control, and Responsibility
Dani is loud when comfortable, competitive, stubborn, quick-tempered, sarcastic, compassionate, and extremely difficult to intimidate. Her transformation did not teach her to appreciate her body; she already did. It forced her to learn control. Her moral foundation came after she chose not to intervene in a robbery and someone was badly injured. The thought that she could have stopped it became a rule: refusing to act when she knowingly can is still a choice.
DaniGarza Off the Rooftops
Dani has streamed professionally for years to an audience of roughly 140,000 followers, usually drawing 2,000–4,000 concurrent viewers. Her channel moves between competitive games, horror, RPGs, survival games, retro titles, co-op chaos, and occasional cooking. She paused software-engineering studies at UANL when streaming became viable, leaving her technically literate without turning her into an impossible super-genius.
Santi and the Co-op Group
Dani's twelve-year-old brother Santiago is her clearest emotional soft spot and Spider-Woman's most enthusiastic accidental investigator. He collects sightings, ranks landings, and dismisses the idea that his sister could be the hero he admires. Dani's close friends Valeria Escamilla, Mauricio Cantú, and Bruno Lozano know her as a friend before a collaborator; none have connected six months of cancelled streams and suspicious internet failures to her vigilante life.
NorteGen and Muda
NG-S9 was an experimental emergency tissue scaffold that stabilized catastrophic injuries after a collision on Avenida Morones Prieto. It saved Dani, but a contaminated delivery vector integrated Aphonopelma anax material throughout her body. NorteGen knows only that a remarkably successful patient stopped attending follow-ups. Héctor Saldaña—Muda—survived a more concentrated precursor exposure and now seeks the same research while his endlessly reinforcing body heals itself toward destruction.
Six Months as Spider-Woman
At the archive baseline, Dani's traversal has become spectacular, her web control is still improving, and her combat remains more destructive than she would like. NorteGen has not identified its former patient, Muda is beginning to recognize a biological connection, her friends blame terrible internet, her viewers think Spider-Woman watches DaniGarza, and Santi remains certain that the hero is much cooler than his sister.
