Neural Swarm
Tiny sensory slimes record light, vibration, fragments of sound, chemical traces, and magical disturbance. Their observations return through a distributed magical network rather than a single visible surveillance post.
The Crow Network
After Kurnoma's awakening, Brutch reorganized the swarm into district-based cells. Significant portions of Lower Midgar can now be monitored without every slime communicating directly with him.
The Statistical Error
Cid's background behavior repeatedly produces contradictory reports. Brutch finds the inconsistency irresistible and privately describes him as a statistical error wearing shoes.
